About Nigella Sativa :
The Nigella Sativa is a native yearly flowering plant of the southwest asia, which grows to a height of 20-30 cm. It has finely divided leaves with delicate flowers which have petals varying between 5-10 in number. Nigella sativa has the fruits which are large and encompassed of 3-7 united follicies with numerous seeds. It is further used as a spice. Due to their nature of aromatic, acrid and carminative nature, seeds of nigella sativa are extensively used for treating skin diseases, jaundice, fever, cough.
