About Commiphora Mukul : Guggul is the yellow resin obtained from the mukul myrrh tree, which grows in all over India. It contains of the volatile oil, resin and gum. Its extractable isolate steroid compounds are called guggulsterones. Since ages, guggul has being using in India for medicinal purposes. The ayurved has mentioned the usage of guggul for varied conditions like obesity and rheumatism.
